Join our seed-starting workshop on January 11th, 2025. Class hosted on our farm. You must be pre-registered to attend.
We'll cover soil blocking, light, temperature, and humidity. In this hands-on class, you will assemble your tray of 50 soil blocks and seeds. You'll take it home, plug in your light and heat mat, and watch your garden grow.
What you get:
A Seed Starting Tray that can hold 50 soil blocks.
You will make the soil soil blocks and choose the 50 seeds that you want to grow and label them accordingly.
You'll go home with a heat mat and light to setup your seed starts and get them growing during our Winter months indoors.
You'll also leave with a timeline handout to help you remember everything we talked about and keep you on track over the coming 8 weeks.
Seed Choices include an assortment of Cut Flowers and heirloom Tomatoes that must be seeded before January 15th, an assortment of peppers, collards, kale, and brassicas (broccoli, cabbage, arugula etc) will also be available.
*If you want to start cold hardy flowers and vegetables PLUS tomatoes it is recommended that you purchase an additional "Setup" for a second flat, heatmat, and light as they require different temperatures to germinate.
